What Are Other People Dreaming?
63
I always ask my close friends but maybe I should be asking everyone else. Dreams have to much to do with our conscius life we live in present time 16 December 2008. Which leads me to think of "dream time."
A dream second is infinitely longer than a waking second, leaving a dream to have an infinite amount of possibilities. There is room for anything to happen. Are we the only creature on earth that can dream? I would guess not as I watch my aunt's dogs run in their sleep. But humans are the only beings on earth that can remember and consciously communicate dreams with one another. We hold the power to transfer experiences beyond this world to one another.
These words are only understood because we were trained and conditioned to do so. Why? So that we Can share ideas, thoughts, experiences, and dreams with one another. So why is it we can't see words in dreams? They are inert; intangable. They hold no value besides the ideas behind them.
What other ways can humans communicate? Sound definitely plays a big role in human communication. We use it to speak. We are blessed with the gift to create sound. We make The most beautiful music. Music is the one true thing everyone can relate to, and without hesitation. We write songs about experiences we have felt, and how we handle things at present time. When was the last time you heard someone sing about a dream? Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. also had a dream.
Maybe I should make music about my dreams. But what would i use? Just music? Just words? Both? I have a very strong feeling that the importance of music lies within the concept of resonance. It is very true that when certain tones are played, it changes the condiont of a brain. (Look up binaural beats for more information about that subject.) What does each tone provoke? Does a person's brain already have a tone? If so, they would probably all vary in pitch from each type of person to person. Does that mean everything has a tone?
Is this how "The Secret" works? You have to feel the feelings of having something and once you are in tune with it, you will receive it.
Well like mentioned before, we put a Lot of feelings into music. Whether you are creating it, or just singing along to that certain song on the radio. So if we made a song about a yellow rose, will it show up in your life? I think the answer is Yes! Absolutely! Look at all of these famous rappers. They all sing about money and look what they have, LOADS of money. It is literally as simple as that. (Plus the work that goes behind ACTUALLY doing all of that.)
I'm sure that if I put work into focusing on money, that is exactly what I will get as well. And so far, it has been working out just nicely! =D
What if I created tones and named them myself? Anything is possible with the power of suggestion. You can convince people of anything. So say I create a tone for Money. "Listen to this tone and you will receive lots of money." I'm sure a LOT of people would listen because EVERYONE wants more money. Wow! What a great idea! Sell Money! Seriously! ; D
See, so then everyone can associate a certain tone with money. If it is a standard amongst all humans, we can share and recognize the tone between everyone. And of course it is not limited to just money. We can create tones for anything we want. Love, sex, drugs, jobs, people, Anything. Sounds like Anything is possible here, right?
The above writing ^ is an idea I have created using my mind; and since it has limitless possibilities, I'd say that qualifies to be a dream right? So that can be compared to a dream that you have when you sleep?
Conscious Dream Unconscious Dream
~Awake ~Asleep
Both: ~limitless possibilities ~precognitive (tell some sort of future)
Lucid dreaming is being conscious of the fact that you are dreaming. This gives you pretty mushc all control over the dream state.
I notice that I have felt somewhat lost recently, and I have barely been able to remember my dreams. It seems now that i have control over my own life, I don't really know what to do. I'm lost in reality as much as i am in the unreal; and that is especially true after I finally had a lucid dream I was trying so very hard for. But when I was in it, I wasn't sure of what was happening and I kept trying to wake up only to find I was in another dream. I did not remember it when I woke up because my consciousness kept me safe from a somewhat terrifying experience. I need to be in that state more so I can recognize it, work with it, experience it, manipulate it, and learn from it by experimenting etc.
To simply experience beyond understanding. Dreaming should be the new form of religion. Everything comes true with Dreams.

Dreams are whisper's from the soul....and I can never figure mine out...I go more with my gut feelings...once tuned into them they usually are accurate..It has taken me a while to believe my feelings...but when I listen and follow them I am usually never sorry....
Nice Hub my dear and just hang in there...you will figure it all out...MERRY CHRISTMAS...G-Ma :o) hugs
Nice Hub
I am dreaming of wishing everybody happy holidays
Dreams are meant to guide us. Sort of like a pathway through our daily lives. If you can in touch with your dreams and put your faith in yourself, there is no telling how far you will go.
Keep on dreaming...Merry Christmas eveyone!
Nice. I have studied the Silva method - it made me a better human being and completely wiped out the bitterness that I felt. The key factor I feel is living and dreaming for abundance - money is too limiting. I want it all - love, appreciation, success and of course money
Great analysis on dreams. But, mostly dreams occur because were thiking too much---
Intriguing hub! Lucid dreaming takes time to master and is worth the journey. As to the two separate levels of dreaming - the object is to merge them over time. In the West we tend to be disjointed selves unaware. Dreaming is the spiritual way of trying to unite us on all levels, awakening us to full reality and all the levels available to us in the reality of truth. Truth is a beautiful thing to behold!
You have chosen a very interesting subject and have some nice comments on the possible causes of dreams.

Nice - I like your stream of consciousness here :)Actually, I think unconscious (sleep) dreams are not pre-cognitive, but...let's see, how can I explain it...I think they're related to feelings more than anything else. As we go through our day, certain feelings dominate. If we're tuned in to them, we can take care of them while we're awake, but if we aren't, they'll creep up on us at night. When you wake up from a "strange" dream, instead of trying to remember the events that occurred (which I believe are usually just a creation of your mind to display the related feelings), focus on the feelings you got from the dream. See if it's familiar to you - like something you are anxious about, scared of, worried about...or maybe even super-excited and happy about.
