All Hookah establishments have proved to have been successful. It is the new rage that's sweeping across the nation, and the world. Originally coming from India, the people have brought the tradition of smoking Shisha across seas.
I would love to share the opportunity to all people to experience a relaxing atmosphere; connecting with people in such a way never done before. The whole purpose of me being placed on this earth was to Bring People Together. I need to fulfill this purpose. I have an overwhelming desire and drive to open this establishment. Please help a young guy in need. I have been around the block more than once. I am already in debt because of school, and I'm very distraught about not being able to finish.
I want to create this successful business to eliminate that debt, and eventually go BACK to school. The overall plan would be to open up a couple businesses; starting out in the state of Ohio but of course having the possibility to outreach the state and move farther. Hey, thanks for stoping by! We are like in the same boat school with school stuff. I've had to 'drop out' as I couldn't get any more loans for next semester. :( But I'm already buried in debt so now I'm trying to find a way to make money. This trading bot I have, is doing really well so far, I have high hopes for it! I don't know how hard/easy it is to set up a business in New York, but here in Oregon, its only $50 to register a business with the state. Have you written up a business plan? If you have, do a google search for "Angel Investors". The university I was attending, Oregon State, has a conference in May where entrepreneurs have a chance to get $150k of grant money to help them start their business from Angel Investors. You have to submit a business plan, etc. Check out their site: http://angelsoft.net. I eventually want to start/run my own business too. I think you have a great idea with a hookah store/bar. I personally want to start up a Sports Bar, they are generally recession proof, and fairly profitable. As people will either want to drink their blues away or celebrate whatever, and what better way to do it while watching your favorite sport? Good Luck!

I too stopped going to school for about a year because of loans but I´m back at it working full time and going to school full time as well (online) maybe this is an alternative you might want to look into... it´s fairly easy as far as convenience and most traditional 4 year schools offer them...but not to blab. Great blog post. Start your business small and grow exponentially.

I have to tell you that where I live, opening a shisha/hookah cafe ain't that simple anymore. In the province of Quebec, in Canada, there is an anti-smoking law forbidding anyone to have tobacco smoked in their establishment. Which means that only shisha and cigar lounges that already existed before the law passed can continue buisness. To buy an already existing franchise then becomes really expensive for an unproven inverstor. Good luck if there are no such laws where you live!

Are you willing to Pay alot of money to lease a free standing building? Are you willing to work 100 hours a week? do you have friends and family willing to work for free or under the table for alot less than min wage? Are you willing or can you live off of less than min wage per month?
Hookah Cafe is not a get rich genius idea, if it was than there will be more than 1000 Cafe across the country( which more than 300 has failed in the past 2 years). You will have to be deticated and you also have to know the trade before any lenders will give you any money. This is not a easy thing to get into and i advise to not do this, you are to young and sorry to say this but dumb to even think of starting a business you obviously have little knowledge about. If you think this will Bring you out of Debt? Since your already in Debt it will make it worse and lead to you commiting suicide. I own a Hookah Cafe that is actually doing great, But i found the last good spot to have a Shisha lounge in Ohio, All the major Universities are taken so the only other way to make money is to allow 12-17 yr olds in your estabishment or sell drugs which alot of the ones that failed or hanging on by a finger are doing as we speak. I only get 5 hours of sleep, i work 7 days a week i actually have a huge place with a huge dance floor,as well as a apartment and make $20,000 a month, I don't have debt( the business still does) or many bills( live upstairs and got a deal on a building) and can you guess how much money i get of the 20? $800 a month, which is enough for food and to pay my car. I get a avr of 50 people (m-f and sun) on week days and 200 on weekends, more people than any other hookah cafe in ohio. Why am i doing this for so little money? Meet alot of girls and i have a apartment upstairs.Plus my parents are rich.
